IBPS Clerk 2019 Notification: Apply Online, Exam Dates, Syllabus

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2019– The IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has released the IBPS Clerk 2019 notification on Sept 12. A total of 12075 vacancies has been released to recruit the candidates based on common written exam (CWE) for the clerical cadre in multiple public sector banks across the country. Online registration for IBPS Clerks 2019 exam (9th Common Recruitment Process for Clerks IX or CRP Clerks-IX) has started from 17 Sept 2019. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility and other essential details before applying to IBPS Clerk 2019 examination.

The IBPS Clerk CWE 2019 exam will be conducted in two phases- Preliminary (Prelims/ Pre) exam and Mains exam. Candidates who will qualify in Online Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Online Main Examination. Qualified candidates in both exams will be selected for the IBPS clerk post. Since recruitment in clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on State/UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only.

Required Documents before applying IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam

IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk (CRP 9) 2019 Online Exam:

Age Limit (As on 01.09.2019):

Minimum Age- 20 Years

Maximum Age- 28 years

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1991 and not later than 01.09.1999 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification:

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
  • The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
  • Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
  • Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

IBPS Clerk Admit Card & Hall Ticket 2019

Admit card will be made available 10 to 15 days before the IBPS Clerk 2019 exam. Candidates will be able to get their IBPS Clerk admit card 2019 through the online mode only. The department will not deliver admit card via post or any other medium.

IBPS Clerk CRP Exam Centre

The examination will be conducted online in venues across many centres in India. While filling the online application form, you are given the option to choose the exam centre of your choice. However, IBPS may allocate you a centre other than the one you prefer if seats are not available at preferred locations. There will be no request to change the examination center.

As per the notification released by the IBPS department, Clerk Prelims result will be declared on any date between December 2019 to January 2020 and provisional allotment will be released in April 2020.
