Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates‟ general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. SSC CGL 2019-20: Tier 4 Examination
In the Tier-IV, Computer Proficiency Test and Data Entry Skill Test will be conducted.
Data Entry Skill Test (DEST):
- For the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise & Income Tax): 8,000 Key Depression per hour.
- The “Data Entry Speed Test” Skill Test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 key depressions for a duration of 15 minutes.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT):
The Commission will hold Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), comprising of three modules:

- Spread Sheet
- Generation of Slides
