SSC CPO Notification 2019– The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) has officially released the SSC CPO 2019 notification (exam 2019-2020) on Sept 17 for recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF. Last date to apply online for SSC CPO exam was 16 October 2019 and the last date of making online fee payment or offline Challan was 18 October 2019. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility and other essential details before applying to SSC CPO examination.
There are three different stages of SSC CPO Exam which needs to be clarified for the candidates to be selected for various posts like Delhi Police, CAPFs, CISF etc. SSC CPO Paper 1 is objective type multiple choice paper. The Paper II exam is English Comprehension Test and the PET / PST test is conducted to check the endurance (medical and physical strength) of the candidate.

Before filling the one-time registration form for SSC CPO exam, candidates should have following information/ documents ready-
- Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP).
- Email ID (to be verified through OTP).
- Aadhaar Number or one of the following document ID Number- Voter ID Card, PAN, Passport, Driving License, School/ College ID, Employer ID (Govt./ PSU/ Private).
- Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.

Educational Qualification:
- Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests. However, the candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for all other posts in CAPFs.
SSC CPO Application Fee
Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa MasterCard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee.
Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 18-10-2019 (17:00). However, candidates who wish to make cash payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment at designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 19-10-2019 provided the challan has been generated by them before 18-10-2019 (17:00).

SSC CPO Medical Test
Eligibility Criteria for the Medical Test is mentioned below:
- Minimum Near Vision: N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye)
- Minimum Distant Vision: 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye)
- Must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes
- Eye standards should be without visual correction of any kind even by glasses.

General Knowledge and General Awareness:
Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates‟ general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc.
Quantitative Aptitude:
The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. English Language and Comprehension:
Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidate‟s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, comprehension etc.
SSC CPO Admit Card & Hall Ticket 2019
SSC CPO Admit card download facility will be made available 3 to 7 days before the examination on the website of concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office. Candidates will be able to get their admit card for SSC CPO exam 2019 through the online mode only. The department will not deliver admit card via post or any other medium. Candidate must bring printout of their Admit card (also known as Admission Certificate or Call Letter, Hall Ticket) to the Examination Hall.

SSC CPO Tattoo Policy
Tattoos will be allowed in SSC CPO as per following stipulations only:
- Content: Tattoo depicting religious symbol or figures and the name, as followed in Indian Army arepermitted.
- Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm but only left forearm, being non saluting limb or dorsum of the hands will be allowed.
- Size: Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.
SSC CPO Result Date 2019
In the SSC CPO vacancy notification released by the SSC department, there are no official or tentative dates of result declaration. However, CPO Prelims or CPO Paper-I result is expected to be declared in January 2020.
